The 2020 vintage in Napa Valley delivered wines of remarkable concentration and character. Warm days and cool mountain nights allowed the fruit to develop depth while retaining the freshness and structure that mountain vineyards are known for. Despite a challenging harvest season across the valley, Spring Mountain’s elevation and cooling influences produced fruit of exceptional quality and intensity.

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot, the Capstone is sourced entirely from the Keenan estate vineyards perched along the slopes of Spring Mountain. Fermented with precision and aged in carefully selected French oak, the wine captures both the power of mountain fruit and the finesse that has long defined Keenan’s house style.
